PressNote turns live audio into finished output — entirely on your device. Point it at a keynote, a lecture or a meeting and it records, transcribes in real time, translates across six languages, and drafts a clean note, with zero signal and nothing sent to a cloud. One private on-device engine, three audiences: journalists filing coverage from the field, students capturing lectures they can actually study from, and professionals who walk out of a meeting with its decisions and action items already written down.

Nothing leaves your device
Recording, transcription, translation and drafting all run on-device. No account, no upload, no cloud, no telemetry.
Works with zero signal
Built to run offline. On a plane, in a basement press room or a concrete lecture hall, it just works — no connection required.
Real-time on-device AI
Apple Intelligence transcribes and drafts as you record, live. Suggestions are always opt-in, never auto-applied.

How it works

01

Record

Capture any event, class, meeting or interview with live audio levels. Fully offline — no signal, no account, no setup.

02

Transcribe

Speech becomes text in real time, on-device, with punctuation and speakers as the words are spoken.

03

Translate

Flip the transcript across six content languages instantly — English, Português, Español and more.

04

Draft

Apple Intelligence turns the raw transcript into a publishable note, a study-ready summary, or a meeting's decisions and action items.

What makes it different

100% on-device, always offline

Nothing is uploaded, ever. No account, no servers, no telemetry. Your recordings and notes never leave the device — the privacy is architectural, not a setting.

Three audiences, one engine

Journalists filing coverage, students capturing lectures, professionals in meetings. The vocabulary, the output formats and the sharing route change per audience; the same private on-device engine drives all three.

Six content languages

Transcribe and translate across English, Português, Español and three more — live, on-device, and fully offline once the language packs are downloaded.

Meetings that erase their own audio

A meeting's recording is deleted the moment it has been transcribed — the transcript, the notes and the action items stay. It's the one deliberate exception to the app's "never erase captured audio" rule, so the inverted promise is made up front, on the screen where the meeting is created.

Action items that can't invent an owner

An owner or a due date appears only when the meeting actually stated one. A half-grounded sentence is a weak clause, but a half-grounded name tells a real colleague they own work — so generated owners and dates are checked back against the transcript, and blanked when they aren't in it.

Powered by Apple silicon

The on-device models need an iPad or Mac that supports Apple Intelligence. That's the trade for real-time transcription and drafting with genuinely zero cloud.
